Wireless Windows and Doors Alarm Sensor

The door alarm contact sensor uses magnets to determine if the entrance remains closed or got open. The accessory is designed to fit and protect any entry point. The clever mechanism of the sensor doesn’t have to be aligned horizontally, so you can fit it to an angled door and window frames as well. The door and window sensor is great as a part of your smart security system but can be used as a child safety system as well. You can fix it on the front door, windows and even cupboards, so you can make sure the off-limits rooms like the kitchen are closed and your kids are not sneaking through the cupboards.

How does it work then? The sensor comes in two parts – one with a sensor inside and the other one is a magnet. When the door or window is opened the connection between the pieces is broken and the LED indicator triggers the alarm. We recommend placing the sensor on the fixed surface and the smaller magnetic component on the moving part of the door frame. For optimum protection, position the sensor and magnet as close to each other as possible. Try to keep the gap no more than 10mm.

The system is a DIY easy to install set-up. You can attach the sensor with either the adhesive mounts or the screws provided. The alarm sensors are tamper-proof, meaning you will get notified if anyone tries to remove or destroy the sensor as well.
